About

So who is behind the glorious audio event, the PUGcast?

That would be Jeg and Draechen. They’re both based in northern virginia, both in their late 20s, and both retarded. In a good way. If there is a good way to be retarded.

Ok then, what exactly is the PUGcast?

For now, its a World of Warcraft based podcast, but ultimately it’s just two guys sharing their addiction to games in general bringing it with as much humor as possible. Who knows where it ends up.

Where does all the magic happen?

Well, if you haven’t listened yet. Why the hell not!? All the “magic” happens in our very own living rooms. There is no PUGcast studios (until one of us wins the lottery), and our equipment is still a work in progress.

Is there a time where I can tune in live, if so, when?

As of now, Jeg has too much editing to do before we post shows, so we can’t go live. Yet. Hopefully there will be a live feed soon, and we typically record Sunday morning (Meh, saturday night if you ask me) at 12:30am EST

Why PUGcast? Just how did the PUGcast come to be?

The PUGcast was created by Jeg, let’s be honest. For a period of 2 months (May and June of 2009) there just happened to be a new drug in his system. Podcasting. He threw away his family, and all his money, basically becoming a podcast junkie (not really, but it sounds good). So what’s an addiction if you can’t share it with your friends.

[Enter Draechen]

Yes, it was only natural for Jeg to involve his friend over 10 years into the downward spiral of podcasting. After a month of resistance, Draechen finally gave in and the end results was the rigid and awkward pilot episode 0.

The name isn’t really that important to us, we couldn’t really think of something to call it. So why not shoot for the stars? “The Instance” is immensely popular, and we’re just average schmoes, so what’s worse than a normal instance run? A PUG. That’s why we’re bringing you the PUGcast.

So you want listener interaction, ok, how do I get in contact with you?
